Super Kart Thailand

SKT or Super Kart Thailand is a kart racing tounament which arrange every year for the past 8 years.

It all start with Khun Kitti who use to be a racer for amost 10 years and he decided to become a dealer of karting manufacturing from both Japan and Italy. Khun Kitti said he want to turn his hobby in business. After he became a dealer, he has quite a lot of clients so he consider to arrange a racing to his client to have fun with karting that they bought from him. Anf the racing become bigger and bigger because the concept of race like we are the same family.

SKT is one of three organizer in Thailnad. The number of racer who atten each is around 50 up.

SKT is a racing which build for having fun so the sponsorship is from th company of the racer themself. More like a flavor than sponsors. But the one and only main sponsorship is TRUE coraporation which is a major media company in Thailamd.

One sponsor wasn't enough for the growing racing. But it is really hard to find sponsorship in economic like this espacialy for an unfamous sport like karting?

So my dissertation question would be:

- how to make sponsor believe that they will get benefit from invest on SKT?

- how to measure benefit?

This is only a dralf idea!!!

I hav so many book to read before consider something!!!

Ps. the first book that i read is"Sponsorship: For a return on investment"

from Guy Mastermand and there is a picture of a racing car on it so

I consider that is a good sign for me ^^

Direct changing for my dissertation

Woo i finally know who my professor is!!

And he is Frac~~ my project management teacher who look a bit like Jim carry (it'a compliment though)

I've got a chance to speak to him about my idea for dissertation but he think comparing is quite too complicate and too many works too be done and it not suitable for MA dissertation and even comparing to Glastunbury music festival which is huge!!

Only Glastonbury information can be written in a book!!

The topic should hav changed~~

So after the discussion i decide to that my topic will be

"The role of sponsorship for the survival of the Karting Race"

ps. i've got homework!!!

Is to read many many many and many book about sponsorship as possible!!!
